Salary: £32,448 starting salary dependent on experience

About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate Nursery Manager to take the helm of our vibrant 2-3 years unit within our welcoming setting. You’ll be the driving force behind exceptional quality practice, a champion for children’s development, and a mentor who brings out the best in your team.
Supporting our 2‑year‑olds will be at the heart of your leadership, ensuring every child feels secure, understood, and encouraged as they navigate this crucial stage of development. You’ll champion a nurturing, play rich environment that builds confidence, communication, and independence, while guiding your team to deliver responsive, child‑centred care. Through thoughtful routines, strong key‑person relationships, and a deep understanding of early childhood development, you’ll help each child explore their world safely, express themselves freely, and make meaningful progress at their own pace.
What You’ll Lead
- A warm, inclusive 2-3’s unit for 60 children within the nursery where children feel safe, inspired, and valued
- A dedicated staff team who looks to you for guidance, motivation, and professional growth
- A culture of excellence that meets and exceeds EYFS and safeguarding standards
- Strong relationships with families, building trust and partnership from day one
- Smooth, effective operations, from staffing and budgeting to curriculum planning and compliance
What You Bring
- A Level 3 or above in Early Years (Level 5+ desirable)
- Proven leadership experience within an early-years setting
- A deep understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and best practice
- Confidence in decision-making, problem-solving, and team development
- A genuine passion for giving children the best possible start in life
